Perry County Agencies Need Your Help!

$17,000 is Our Goal for This Year’s Annual Campaign

Perry County ’s United Way Affiliated Agencies make a big impact on our lives. Just click on the “Funded Agencies” tab at the top of this page.  We think you’ll agree that United Way works with a great group of organizations.  We selected each of them for funding because it can help us improve people’s lives

You can help us, too!  Get us moving toward our $17,000 goal for this year’s United Way Annual Campaign by clicking on the “Donate Now” button on the UWSI home page. Your tax-deductible gift will stay right here in Perry County to help give our Affiliated Agencies the funding they need.

You can also help us by volunteering to work on our special events, serve on our Allocations Committee (which reviews funding requests), or provide leadership as a member of our Advisory Board.  Just click on the “Volunteer Now” button on the UWSI home page to make contact with us by e-mail.  We’ll respond with information about how you can help us expand our activities and increase our impact here in Perry County .  As one of our United Way campaign slogans says, “Together, we can accomplish what none of us can achieve alone!”

UWSI-PERRY COUNTY ADVISORY BOARD

Amy Sue (Foster) Wagley        Dixie Travelstead (Honorary Member)

The UWSI – Perry County board members are volunteers who devote countless hours to working on what matters™: community impact. Every fall, they raise funds to make sure that Perry County’s United Way Affiliated Agencies can deliver essential programs and services. Every spring, they review applications for funding from all the organizations that want to become Affiliated Agencies – and make decisions about which programs should receive United Way funding and how much they should be given. Throughout the year, they work on special community events and projects. The board members are neighbors and friends of yours who are devoted to making the United Way mission a reality in Perry County: mobilizing the caring power of communities to improve people’s lives.
