United Way Affiliated Agencies make a big impact here in Murphysboro. Just click on the “Funded Agencies” tab at the top of this page to learn more about each one. What all 22 of them have in common is their commitment to improve people’s lives. Whether it provides a fun and safe place for children and young adults to gather, delivers meals to homebound older adults, protects children from abuse, provides constructive after-school activities, or meets other critical needs in Murphysboro, each agency is a United Way Community Partner. Its programs have been selected for funding by a United Way Advisory Board that’s made up of volunteers from our community.
