Greater Marion Area Agencies Need Your Help!

Our Annual Campaign Goal is $200,000

United Way Affiliated Agencies make a big impact here in the Greater Marion area.  Just click on the “Funded Agencies” tab at the top of this page to see all the organizations we have pledged to support.  We selected each one for funding because it can help us work to improve people’s lives

You can give us a head start toward our goal for this year’s United Way Annual Campaign. Just click on the “Donate Now” button on UWSI home page. Your tax-deductible gift will stay right here in the Greater Marion area and help guarantee that our Affiliated Agencies have the support they need.

You can also help us by volunteering to work on special events, serving on our Allocations Committee that reviews funding requests from community organizations, or providing leadership as a member of our Advisory Board.  Just click on the “Volunteer Now” button on UWSI home page!  As one of our United Way campaign slogans says, “Together, we can accomplish what none of us can achieve alone!”

The UWSI – Greater Marion Area board members are volunteers who devote countless hours to working on what matters™: community impact. Every fall, they raise funds to make sure that Greater Marion Area’s United Way Affiliated Agencies can deliver essential programs and services. Every spring, they review applications for funding from all the organizations that want to become Affiliated Agencies – and make decisions about which programs should receive United Way funding and how much they should be given. Throughout the year, they work on special community events and projects. The board members are neighbors and friends of yours who are devoted to making the United Way mission a reality in the Greater Marion Area: mobilizing the caring power of communities to improve people’s lives.
